Bailout Costs

Today the House is voting again on the $700bn Wall Street bailout. In the midst of that, here's something else to think about. It comes from a quote from Bono from earlier this week.
It’s extraordinary to me that the United States can find $700 billion to save Wall Street and the entire G8 can’t find $25 billion dollars to saved 25,000 children who die every day from preventable diseases.

Yikes!
Puts things in perspective...
Problem is they make up this 700 billion. That means they have to print it, which means the value of the dollar will go down which means the value of everything else will have to go down. (see how the price of oil is dropping). unfortunately we can't seem to even put any resources into others (ie. poverty, africa, aids). it really is extrodinary and this should be a telling time for our generation.
