Rainbow Sandals's Return Policy
I just saw the above photo on a friend's flickr photostream. I had heard that Rainbow Sandals come with a warranty. So, I looked it up to see if it were possible for her to return her sandals instead of throwing them away.
It looks like she won't be able to return them, but the return policy was humerous. So, I thought I would share it here.
RAINBOW® SANDALS will NOT Repair or Replace your sandals if they become defective as a result of any circumstances not involved in the manufacturing.
For Example:
- Bottom or Top Sole Wearing Through to Soft Colored Insert
- Motorcycle Kick-Pedal Gouges, etc.
- Skateboard Abuse
- Chewed Strap from Dog
- Ripped Rubber from Walking on Curbs, Jagged Rocks, and Coral
- Cuts, Slashes, Burns, etc.
- Torn Straps
- Excessive Abuse
- Cracked Rubber / Materials
Have you ever tried to return a pair of sandals with kick-pedal gouges?

rainbows are overrated.
I thought that I had ruined my brown Rainbows when I had them in the rain once because they were curled up and stiff, but I sat them in the sun and then wore them for the day and they returned to normal. Now, they are fine. There may still be hope, Joye!
After Alan Wilser's dog Rufio chewed on my shoes, I was going to return them, until I read that same disclaimer. I felt jipped. I almost thought about sending them in anyway for a "pity pair" but then I thought they might not return my chewed up pair. I still wear them. haha
